Thuy Sindell works with leaders and their teams to build strategies and skills toward getting different and better results from themselves individually and collectively as a team. She also partners with human resources departments to create high-potential programs to ensure development and retention of key leaders. The results...her clients get clear on what’s expected of them as leaders and build skills to effectively fulfill their roles. Her clients over the last 12 years have been mostly Silicon Valley companies who operate in high-speed environments with rapid innovation cycles.

Thuy is the founder of two software start-ups; Hit the Ground Running and Knowledge Genie. Thuy is also the author of three career books that focus on helping employees take accountability for their professional success: The End of Work as You Know It: Eight Strategies to Redefine Work in Your Own Terms (Ten Speed Press, 2010); Job Spa: 12 Weeks to Refresh, Refocus, and Recommit to Your Career (Adams Media, 2008); and Sink or Swim: New Job. New Boss. 12 Weeks to Get it Right (Adams Media, 2006). She has a blog on Psychology Today called, “The End of Work as You Know It.” She has been featured in Business Week, CNN, Forbes, Fortune, Investors Business Daily, NBC, and Washington Post.

Thuy holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Alliant International University. Her dissertation research focused on repatriation; she studied Hewlett-Packard’s foreign-service employees to investigate their process of return to the U.S.
